Location: Florence, AZ
Employment Type: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
School Year: 2024-2025
Dates: July 8th, 2024 - May 27th, 2025
Available Positions: PreK and K-8th grade
Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our school team in Florence, AZ, for the 2024-2025 academic year. This full-time role, requiring 37.5 hours per week, will run from July 8th, 2024, to May 27th, 2025. We have multiple positions available for PreK and K-8th grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluation: Perform detailed assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Therapy Development: Create and execute individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each student.
- Collaboration: Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to enhance student outcomes and integrate therapy into the classroom setting.
- Documentation: Keep thorough records of student progress and actively participate in IEP meetings.
- Service Provision: Deliver onsite speech and language therapy in accordance with state guidelines and student IEPs.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Current Arizona state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Preferred experience working with children in a school environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
