We’re seeking an experienced and driven Onsite Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one property within our portfolio in the Southgate or Livonia, MII area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong background in property management to ensure exceptional resident experiences and drive success. You will be responsible for a 128-unit up to 600-unit community multifamily in either Southgate or Livonia, MI

Job Details:

We are searching for an energetic, experienced and dynamic Permanent Onsite Property Manager for our Southgate, MI location. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading company in the Accounting + Finance industry, where you will be primarily responsible for managing the leasing operations of our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in leasing and 5+ years of overall experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring smooth functioning and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies for leasing, ensuring maximum occupancy levels.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their queries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all property-related issues are promptly resolved.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and other relevant documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to assess the condition of the property and identify necessary repairs or improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in the property market and make recommendations for improving the property’s competitiveness.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with at least 4 years in leasing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of property management and leasing principles, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using property management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, etc.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple properties simultaneously.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to address tenant issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Must be willing to work onsite at our Southgate, MI location.
