Location: Delano, CA (Must live in or near Delano)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $20.94

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Recreation Coordinator to join our Community Services Department. In this role, you will supervise, plan, and organize a variety of recreation programs and activities for all ages. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, coordinate, and supervise City recreation programs for youth, teens, and adults.
Oversee facilities, staff, and volunteers for assigned programs, including events and sports activities.
Implement policies, procedures, and standards for recreation programs and ensure smooth operation.
Assist in the development and execution of the department's goals, objectives, and budget needs.
Provide training, supervision, and performance evaluations for part-time, seasonal, and volunteer staff.
Organize, schedule, and supervise events and activities across multiple locations.
Maintain records, prepare reports, and evaluate program effectiveness and participation.
Respond to public inquiries, complaints, and provide excellent customer service.
Supervise safety protocols and ensure facilities are properly maintained for safe use.
Collaborate with other City departments, school districts, and community organizations to deliver impactful programs.

Job Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in recreation programming or event management
Valid California Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
Bilingual fluency in Spanish or Pilipino is desirable but not required.
