We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Moriarty, NM. As a BCBA, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and overseeing behavior intervention plans to support students with behavioral challenges and developmental disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled BCBA to make a lasting impact in the educational setting, working directly with students, families, and school teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of students' behavior and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide supervision and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other team members.
- Implement and monitor ABA-based interventions to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure the success of behavior plans across all settings.
- Track, analyze, and report on student progress through data collection and analysis.
- Provide direct one-on-one and group therapy sessions as needed.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop recommendations for students' behavioral needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing behavioral insights and goals for students.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate case files, reports, and documentation according to ethical guidelines and district policies.
- Stay current with best practices in behavior analysis and contribute to the ongoing professional development of the team.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field.
- Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Current state licensure as a BCBA or ability to obtain licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BCBA in an educational or clinical setting (experience in schools preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and its principles.
- Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to supervise and mentor other behavior professionals.
