We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the beautiful city of Tacoma, Washington. This role is primarily centered around the finance industry and will be based in a visually appealing workplace.


Responsibilities:

• Handling tax operations, including preparation, review, compliance, and audits.

• Assisting clients with various tax-related matters, covering business taxes, individual taxes, and more.

• Performing necessary bookkeeping tasks, primarily to support tax work.

• Utilizing software like QuickBooks and CCH-Tax for effective management of accounting tasks.

• Reconciling accounts to ensure accurate financial records.

• Managing the general ledger and ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.

• Using Microsoft Excel for various accounting and data management tasks.

• Preparing and filing complex tax returns, including consolidated and corporate income tax returns.

• Handling federal tax matters, including the preparation and filing of federal income tax returns.

• Ensuring compliance with all federal tax laws and regulations.


The salary range for this position is $125k to $135k. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan and 15 days of paid vacation, 7 days of paid sick leave and 9 paid holidays per calendar year.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a must.
• Experience with General Ledger management is required.
• The candidate must be adept at using Microsoft Excel.
• The ability to handle Annual Tax duties is essential.
• Ability to prepare and analyze Complex Tax Returns is necessary.
• Expertise in dealing with Complex Tax issues is required.
• Experience in preparing Consolidated Tax Returns is essential.
• Knowledge of Corporate Income Tax matters is a must.
• The candidate must be skilled in preparing Federal Income Tax Returns.
• Experience with Federal Tax Returns is necessary.
• Understanding and handling of Federal Taxes is essential.
