Cable Technician

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Cable Technician to join our team in Papillion, Nebraska. In this role, you will be responsible for handling low voltage technical tasks, assisting in basic IT duties, and providing on-site cable tech work. This role provides an opportunity for a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently installing network infrastructure
• Assisting clients with network-related queries
• Handling low voltage technical tasks with proficiency
• Learning and applying basic IT skills
• Understanding and adhering to building code standards
• Utilizing knowledge of cables and low voltage systems
• Engaging in clear and effective communication with team members and clients
• Arriving on time and maintaining a detail oriented appearance at all times
• Showing a willingness to learn help desk, project management, and other IT skills
• Climbing ladders as required for cable installation and maintenance tasks.• Entry-level role with no prior experience required
• Proficiency in Access Control
• Knowledge of Android Development
• Familiarity with Broadband technologies
• Understanding of Cisco Technologies
• Ability to work with Data Networks
• Experience with AB Testing is beneficial
• Ability to work with Apple Devices
• Experience with BluePrint
• Proficiency in Cable Installation
• Knowledge of Cable Television technology
