Job Description

Material handling and machine operation. Packaging and labeling finished products and preparing them for shipping. Assist with setup and operation of automated production machinery to apply weatherizing solutions to large paper rolls used to wrap concrete forms in the construction industry. Shop cleanup and general shop help. Operation of forklifts to move materials.

Responsibilities
  • Handle materials and operate machines.
  • Package and label finished products.
  • Prepare products for shipping.
  • Assist with the setup and operation of automated production machinery.
  • Apply weatherizing solutions to large paper rolls.
  • Perform shop cleanup and general shop help.
  • Operate forklifts to move materials.
Essential Skills
  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Machine operation skills.
  • General labor and materials handling skills.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to work in an industrial environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing or warehouse.
  • Right attitude and drive to work in an industrial environment.

Work Environment

Industrial manufacturing environment with heavy machinery. Employees must wear PPE, including safety shoes, hard hats, earplugs, and safety glasses. The schedule rotates between three shifts every six weeks: Day (7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday), Swing (3pm-11:30pm, Monday-Friday), and Graveyard (11pm-7:30am, Sunday-Thursday). There is a $0.50 differential for swing shift and $1 differential for night shift.
