Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. This full-time, on-site role offers an exciting opportunity to provide emergency medical care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality care, making quick decisions in critical situations, and working collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Emergency Care: Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with urgent and life-threatening conditions. Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical emergencies across all age groups.
Patient Assessment: Quickly assess and triage patients, prioritize care based on medical urgency, and provide immediate interventions as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nurses, paramedics, and specialists, to develop treatment plans and provide coordinated patient care.
Critical Decision-Making: Utilize advanced clinical skills to make rapid and accurate decisions in high-pressure situations, ensuring timely interventions and proper treatment.
Patient Safety & Quality Care: Ensure the highest standards of patient safety and quality care are met through adherence to medical protocols and best practices.
Documentation: Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely patient records in compliance with hospital policies and legal regulations.
Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior medical staff, including residents, medical students, and support staff, as needed.
Certifications & Training: Maintain up-to-date certifications, including ACLS, BLS, and PALS, and participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Qualifications:
Medical Degree: M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution.
Board Certification or Eligibility: Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
Experience: Experience working in urgent care, critical care, or emergency medicine. Prior experience in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency department is preferred.
Certifications: Valid certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work efficiently in emergency situations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
Strong commitment to patient care, safety, and quality improvement.
Pay Range:
The pay for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience. The annual salary range for this position is $250,000 - $350,000. Additional incentives and benefits, such as signing bonuses, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive health coverage, are available.
