As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, driving process improvement initiatives, leading Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations and ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and processes to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive initiatives to improve the quality of products and services.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and potential problems.
  • Create and maintain documentation of quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Develop and lead training sessions on quality assurance topics.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality of components and materials used in production.
  • Investigate customer complaints and issues and develop corrective action plans.
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics.

Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and at least 5 years of quality assurance experience preferred
  • You should have an in-depth understanding of quality management systems, quality assurance methodologies, and risk management principles
  • Additionally, you should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for quality assurance
  • Aerospace industry related experience or close comparison 
  • Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.
