Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for machining parts, performing one setup per day, and utilizing their expertise in G code, offsets, setups, conversational programming, and M code. The candidate should be proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools, as well as have experience with programming, bar feeders, manual machining, and operating a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Machining parts with precision and accuracy.
• Performing one setup per day.
• Utilizing G code and M code for programming.
• Handling offsets and setups efficiently.
• Executing conversational programming tasks.
• Using calipers and micrometers for measurements.
• Operating CNC machines with manual machining skills.
• Managing bar feeder operations.
• Operating forklifts safely and effectively.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in G code and M code.
• Experience with offsets and setups.
• Conversational programming skills.
• Ability to use calipers and micrometers.
• Experience with CNC machines and manual machining.
• Knowledge of bar feeder operations.
• Forklift operation experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with electrical assembly of production or heavy-duty manufacturing equipment is required.
• Experience assembling small electrical products is insufficient.

Work Environment

This position is for the first shift, from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The work environment is well-lit, temperature-controlled, clean, and organized. Overtime may be mandatory at times, so applicants must be open to working additional hours as needed. We are willing to train and pay to retain and attract quality talent.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flowery Branch, Georgia.
