Test Engineer II

Summary:
Test Engineer II responsible for performing verification and validation (V&V) activities for software and systems in medical devices, with expertise in automation testing, defect tracking, and SW risk management.
Job Requirements:
- BS in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science) with 3-5 years of experience.
- Experience with SW Risk Management (ISO 14971).
- Proficiency in automation testing and defect tracking.
- Experience in exam, tool, fixture, and phantom design for testing purposes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and manage equipment needed for testing, including designing exams, tools, fixtures, and phantoms.
- Compile data and define changes required for test equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing needs.
- Frequently apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in testing.
- Perform verification and validation of new or modified products, generating plans, protocols, and reports for testing conducted.
- Create, develop, and maintain test software.
- Ensure test equipment remains in good working order and properly calibrated.
- Coordinate and oversee testing at external test facilities.
- Set up and develop systems for test tracking, monitoring, and data recording.
- Provide solutions to various technical problems of differing scope and complexity.
- Participate in all phases of product development, including requirements review, design, usability, risk assessment, and defect management.
- Design, implement, and execute automated testing.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Participate in defect tracking and analysis.
- Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and support existing products.
Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
