New Opportunity: School-Based Occupational Therapist for 2024 - 2025 School Year
Location: Pleasant Valley, Indiana
Position Type:Full-time, 37.5hours/week
Caseload: K-12th grade
Compensation:47+/hour - Experience Based
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and devise personalized treatment plans for students requiring occupational therapy services.
- Foster collaboration with educators, support staff, and parents to seamlessly integrate therapy objectives into the educational framework.
- Administer direct therapy sessions and deploy interventions to enhance students' functional capabilities.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of student progress and ensure effective communication with the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- State certification or licensure specifically for school-based occupational therapy.
- All state school clearances are required
- Proficiency in diverse therapy techniques and interventions tailored to children.
- Prior experience working with students possessing a variety of needs and abilities.
