Position Overview:
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our remote team and provide teletherapy services to students across Illinois. This full-time, 1099 contract position offers the flexibility of working from home while making a meaningful impact in students lives. Key Responsibilities:
- Teletherapy Services: Provide speech therapy sessions to students with various speech and language needs via a secure online platform.
- Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' speech and language challenges and create personalized therapy plans.
- Individualized Therapy Plans: Develop and implement customized therapy programs to foster students' speech and language development.
- Collaboration: Partner with parents, teachers, and school staff to track student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, student progress, and assessments.
- Tech-Driven Service Delivery: Use digital tools and teletherapy platforms to deliver effective therapy sessions.
What Were Looking For:
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensing: Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and an Illinois state SLP license.
- Experience: Previous experience delivering speech therapy, particularly in a school or pediatric setting.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and digital tools to conduct remote therapy sessions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a passion for helping children succeed.
- Organization: Ability to manage a caseload effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain a consistent schedule.
