A dynamic and rapidly growing boutique law firm located in King County East Side is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join their complex personal injury litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience handling complex cases involving brain injuries, insurance bad faith, wrongful death, and other catastrophic injuries. While this position is remote, candidates are required to be accessible to the King County East Side for case/trial needs and the occasional staff meeting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on a variety of complex personal injury matters.
  • Organize and manage voluminous case files, including medical records, witness statements, and other relevant documents.
  • Draft and file various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including witness preparation, exhibit organization, and courtroom management.
  • Manage discovery processes, including scheduling depositions, reviewing and summarizing documents, and preparing privilege logs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, opposing counsel, and experts.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail and ensure compliance with all deadlines and court rules.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in a complex personal injury litigation practice.
  • Must have current experience e-filing in King, Pierce, or Snohomish County.
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research databases and case management software.
