Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Mill Operator

Job Description

Operate wire mill making cored welding wire-cnc controlled. Complete set-up and operation of wire mill, including tool changes, machine adjustments, quality checks, and minor machine repairs. Properly blend powders in powder area and complete QC tests on each batch of wire produced. Cut wire mill tooling on a CNC lathe, calculate and record set-up parameters on wire mill, measure with O.D. Micrometers (Metric), perform preventative maintenance, and operate jib cranes. Work and operate other pieces of equipment around the plant as required. Perform any other duties as assigned.
