We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity as an Entry Level Financial Analyst in the Financial Services industry located in Hiawatha, Iowa. You will be working closely with a team to review, analyze, and extract financial data from various sources, and input this data into a proprietary database.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand financial statements from organizations nationwide.

• Extract relevant data from financial statements and input it into a proprietary database.

• Maintain and update financial information as new financial statements become available.

• Conduct research online to compile company financial information.

• Use Excel to manage and organize data effectively.

• Apply statistical methods to understand and interpret the financial data.

• Work independently to meet team goals and deadlines.

• Use your knowledge of Tax Accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Utilize your skills in Investment Financial Analysis to interpret and present financial data.

• Review Form 10-K and Form 10-Q to extract relevant financial information.

• A Bachelor's / Honours Degree in Finance or Accounting is required
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry
• Proficiency in Excel is necessary
• Capability to analyze financial statements effectively
• Familiarity with Form 10-K and Form 10-Q filings
• Understanding of applied statistics is beneficial
• Experience in tax accounting is advantageous
• Skills in investment financial analysis are highly sought after
