Hours: Full-Time, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Description of Need:
A retail oncology pharmacy in St. Petersburg is seeking a reliable and professional Pharmacy Technician for a temporary to permanent role. This is a low-volume pharmacy with minimal customer interaction. The client is looking for a candidate who can start ASAP, has a positive attitude, and demonstrates strong reliability. Specialty pharmacy experience is a must.

Client is very selective candidates must have specialty experience and a well-written, clean resume. Past candidates have been rejected due to poorly written resumes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete Prior Authorizations
  • Process Pharmacy Claims
  • Coordinate Medication Dispensing and Shipping
  • Medication Ordering, Labeling, and Ensuring Proper Verification

Requirements:

  • Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Florida
  • Specialty pharmacy experience is required
  • Background in specialty oncology is a plus, but not required
