Our client, a prominent and expanding healthcare organization is looking to hire a Payroll Specialist for their corporate office located in the Newington, CT area. This is a permanent, full-time role with excellent benefits and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage payroll for all multiple locations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records and reports.
- Uphold compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Liaise with various departments to ensure payroll processes align with company policies.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries about payroll.
- Coordinate with HR on employee benefits and deductions.
Qualification and Experience:
- Previous payroll processing experience.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and employment legislation.
- Familiarity with payroll software.
- Exceptional numeric skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
