Shift: 12 Hour Shifts, Friday-Sunday, 7 AM - 7:30 PM

Job Description:

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel CT Tech for a 13-week contract position in Ft. Myers, FL. This day shift role, working Friday through Sunday from 7 AM to 7:30 PM, provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced CT Technologist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive CAT Scans of the chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams.
  • Ensure timely completion of post-processing.
  • Conduct CTAs with effective post-processing.
  • Efficiently handle trauma patient scans.
  • Manage medications during distribution or administration as needed.
  • Access secured drug storage areas.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and auxiliary staff.
  • Maintain high-quality image production in scanning.
  • Lead in coordinating radiology care across various settings.
  • Perform coronary CTA and invasive CT procedures as required.
  • Utilize GE 650 and Siemens Perspective equipment.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification.
  • Valid Florida state license in CT Technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting.
  • Experience in coronary CTA and invasive CT procedures preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Ability to float is a must.
  • Experience with GE 650 and Siemens Perspective.
  • Proven expertise in performing a broad range of CAT Scans.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols.
  • Excellent post-processing skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly with trauma patients.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in a radiology setting.
  • Willingness to take call as required.
  • Ability to travel to and from assignments.
