Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components in various industries. The role requires an individual who has a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and can apply this knowledge to real-world design problems. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams and be involved in all aspects of the design process from concept development to product launch.
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components to meet customer requirements.
- Analyze cost of mechanical systems and components and identify areas of cost reduction.
- Drive design changes through Engineering Change Process
- Use CAD software to create detailed drawings and specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies, trade studies, and prototyping activities.
- Analyze and evaluate designs for strength, durability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality control, and suppliers.
- Support production, testing, and validation of prototypes and final products.
- Continuously improve design processes and methodologies.
- Stay current with industry standards and regulations.
Work Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Creo
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
