Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct Support: Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the BCBA, providing one-on-one support to students in various settings.
  • Data Collection: Collect and record data on student behavior and progress to ensure the effectiveness of interventions and inform future strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with BCBAs, teachers, and families to provide consistent support and promote positive behavioral outcomes.
  • Skill Development: Assist students in developing essential life skills, communication, and social interactions through structured activities.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on best practices in behavior analysis.
Qualifications:
  • Certification: Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; associates or bachelors degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
