Pull stacks of meat continuously with a forklift, ensuring there is always product running. Record productivity and materials loaded/unloaded on a computer. Work in narrow aisles with 20 other forklift operators simultaneously. 40% of the job involves palletizing and counting products and materials off the forklift.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a stand-up forklift (Crown) to pull and move stacks of meat.
  • Ensure continuous meat running on the production line.
  • Record productivity and materials loaded/unloaded on a computer.
  • Work efficiently in narrow aisles alongside 20 other forklift operators.
  • Palletize and count products and materials when off the forklift.
Essential Skills
  • Stand-up forklift experience (Crown)
  • Ability to work occasional Saturdays
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments

  • Freezer experience

  • Experience in the food industry

Work Environment

Work in a refrigerated production facility with the potential to work in a freezer environment. The environment is very hygienic, requiring the washing of boots and hands when entering new rooms. The temperature ranges from 38 to 42 degrees. Employees must wear FDA-approved PPE including hair nets, gloves, non-slip boots, and no piercings. Shifts include 1st shift (4:30am - 5:30am to 1:30pm - 2:30pm) and 2nd shift (1:30pm - 3:30pm to finish, 9-10 hour shift). Saturday work may be required.
