Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Full-Time

Location: Benicia, CA

Job Type: Full-Time, Contract

ProCare Therapy is hiring a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work with a school district in Benicia, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with elementary and middle school students, providing essential therapy services.

Position Details:

  • Start/End Date: ASAP June 13, 2025
  • Caseload: Approximately 30 students (elementary and middle school, subject to change)
  • Schedule: Full-time, 8:30 AM 3:00 PM
  • School Sites: 5 (flexibility to travel to multiple sites is required)

Requirements:

  • Active California OTA license
  • Experience in school settings preferred
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to deliver therapy services
  • Provide individualized and group therapy activities to meet students needs
  • Track progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Coordinate with teachers and staff to support therapy goals
  • Travel between multiple school locations
