Radiologic Technologist CT/MRI
13-Week Contract in Syracuse, NY

Shift Schedule: Nights

Position Overview:
Join our healthcare team as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT/MRI. This role involves performing advanced imaging procedures under the supervision of radiologists to provide critical diagnostic insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Greet and position patients, explaining procedures to ensure clarity and ease.
  • Set proper exposure factors to obtain high-quality radiographic images.
  • Practice radiation safety measures to minimize exposure risks.
  • Operate imaging equipment efficiently, reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Process films and input documentation into the Radiology Information System for billing and tracking.
  • Adhere to department protocols and procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.

Qualifications:

  • Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
  • Valid New York State license/registration.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT/MRI as a radiologic technologist.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and protocols.
