Details:
Onsite near West Point, NY
Pay Range: $50+/hour (depending on experience)

  • Full 2024-2025 School Year
  • Full Time position, 32-37.5 hours/week
  • ASAP Start - June2025
  • K-12th grade age groups
  • Will send over candidate preference of age group
  • Itinerant position, 1 or multipleschool sites (mileage can be reimbursed between school sites)
  • Very supportive district

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students to assess their physical abilities and limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and collaborate with the school team to integrate therapy into the student's educational program.
  • Provide therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Monitor and document progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and communicate regularly with the school team and parents/guardians.
  • Provide consultation and training to teachers and other school staff to support the integration of therapy goals into the classroom and daily routines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and assist in the development of appropriate goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records, including progress notes, reports, and billing documentation.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid New York Physical Therapy license and certification from the National Board for Certification
  • Must be able to pass a background check
