Staff Accountant

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking for a dynamic role in financial reporting and analysis? LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join our real estate services clients. In this role, you will assist in the accounting of multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial transactions and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations

  • Develop monthly procedures to produce timely month-end and quarterly balance sheet and income statements.

  • Support the preparation of the annual operating and reserve budgeting process.

  • Monitor general ledger account details and variances with department managers.

  • Analyze, report, and research budget to actual variances on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

  • Maintain the chart of accounts for multiple associations.

  • Support the finance department during the annual fiscal year-end audit.

  • Apply project management skills to create work plans, schedule work, obtain documentation, prepare working papers, and communicate project status.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and employees.
