Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Medical Assembler to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling small charger components for hearing aids and diabetic testing devices under a microscope in a clean-room environment. This role requires precision and attention to detail as you will be handling extremely small electronic parts using tweezers and small hand tools.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble small charger components for hearing aids and diabetic testing devices under a microscope.
  • Work in a clean-room environment performing microscope assembly of small electronic components.
  • Utilize tweezers and small hand tools to handle parts smaller than a hair.
  • Spend 4-6 hours per day working under a microscope.
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to strict clean-room procedures.
Essential Skills
  • Experience working under a microscope.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Consistent work history.
  • Comfortable and fully aware of clean-room environment regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in medical device assembly.
  • Experience with electronic assembly work using small hand tools.
  • Familiarity with clean-room protocols.

Work Environment

Work in a clean-room regulated environment with lots of documentation. The role involves sitting all day with 30-75% of the job being under a microscope assembling and inspecting parts. You will need to be comfortable with wearing a hair net, face mask, white gown, gloves, and following strict procedures. The work schedule is from Sunday to Thursday, 9pm - 5:30am, with occasional mandatory overtime on Friday nights. Flexibility by an hour earlier or later can be accommodated if needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arden Hills, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
