Job Title: Process Engineer / Quality Engineer 
Location: Stanton, TN 38069 
Pay Rate: $70k-$95/ $75k-$95k

Key Areas of Responsibility: 

  • Review gate safety and reliability assessments in advance. 

  • Respond to marketing and cell development requirements, including RFQ assessment. 

  • Conduct special and urgent tests as requested by major customers. 

  • Review and approve results of safety, performance, and reliability tests during gate evaluation. 

  • Conduct regular shipment safety tests and mass production reliability tests. 

  • Evaluate test products for 4M changes. 

  • Set up and maintain B_QMS (Battery Quality Management System) evaluation systems in real-time. 

  • Establish and revise test standards and analyze measurement systems (MSA). 

  • Plan, drive, and coordinate certification initiatives. 

  • Respond to post-assessment in UL WTDP, TUV, and UN certification. 

  • Manage S-mark cell certification for ESS and other regional certifications. 

  • Conduct UN transportation testing and publish test reports. 

  • Manage assets and maintain evaluation instruments, including monthly calibration. 

  • Monitor and manage the quality evaluation building environment in light of 3R and 5S principles. 

  • Conduct job hazard analysis and manage safety and security of the quality evaluation building. 

  • Perform other tasks as assigned. 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Experience: 

  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly through root cause analysis. 

  • Flexibility to rotate to various positions within the plant such as Production or Quality. 

  • Strong customer orientation with a commitment to the Quality Operating System. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results. 

  • Strong and confident technical mentor for the production organization. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Ability to support any shift in a 7-day work pattern. 

  • Flexibility for significant travel during the initial plant start-up phase. 

  • Demonstrated leadership behaviors with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills. 

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, Material, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 

  • At least 1-3 years of experience developing and managing quality systems. 

  • Successful project and QMS implementation experience, with production validation process preferred. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
