ProCare Therapy is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a dynamic school district in Washington, D.C. for the 2024/2025 school year. This full-time, onsite role involves supporting students' development by helping them overcome challenges in the classroom and daily life.

Position Overview
  • Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Location: Washington, D.C.
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Caseload: Elementary and/or secondary students (specific caseload details to be discussed during the interview)
  • Duration: Full school year (2024/2025)
  • Work Mode: Onsite
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services to students with varying disabilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups to address physical, sensory, and cognitive needs.
  • Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Support and train school staff on integrating therapy techniques into the classroom.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Active Occupational Therapy license in Washington, D.C. (or ability to obtain one before the start date).
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
