Job Summary

Interacts with physicians, staff, and pre-hospital personnel as well as patients and their family or significant others. Responsible for overall unit activity and efficiency and providing secretarial/clerical support to the department.

Minimum Qualifications

·         Education

o   High school graduate required

·         Experience

o   Previous secretarial experience with demonstrated computer and word processing skills required.

o   Medical terminology preferred.

o   Meditech experience preferred.

·         Licensure and/or Certification

o   NONE REQUIRED.

·         Skills

o   Interpersonal skills.

o   Telephone etiquette.

o   Organizational skills.

o   Data entry skills.

o   Ability to multitask.

o   Excellent customer service skills

o   Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

o   Strong computer skills.

o   Ability to maintain confidential information.
