Position Overview:
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to implement therapy plans tailored to meet students developmental, sensory, and educational needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy sessions based on plans developed by the supervising OT.
  • Help students build motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living abilities.
  • Monitor and track student progress, maintaining detailed records.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
  • Assist with maintaining and organizing therapy tools and materials.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Current licensure to practice in the state of Delaware.
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
