Exciting Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Centreville, VA

Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) ready to make a difference in Centreville, VA? We have a full-time position available for the upcoming school year, offering the chance to support students across PreK through 12th grade in a dynamic and collaborative educational setting.

Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Centreville, VA
Hours: Full-Time, 35 hours per week
Caseload: 60-65 students (PreK - 12th grade)

Job Details:

  • Role: Full-time position providing direct speech therapy services and support to a diverse group of students.
  • Caseload: Manage a caseload of 60-65 students across all grade levels.
  • Focus: Deliver individualized therapy sessions to enhance students speech and language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapy Services: Deliver customized therapy sessions to address the specific needs of students at various grade levels.
  • Assessment & Planning: Perform thorough assessments and create individualized therapy plans.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy into students' daily educational experiences.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of therapy sessions and monitor student progress.

Requirements:

  • Education: Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure: Relevant Virginia State licensure as an SLP.
  • Experience: Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates or CCC-SLPs are encouraged to apply; no SLPAs.
  • Skills: Effective communication skills and the ability to work with students across a range of ages.
