School Psychologist For 2024-25 School Year - Langley, WA

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in Langley, WA. This is a full-time contracted position within a supportive school district committed to the well-being and academic success of its students. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of psychological principles and practices, a passion for working with children and adolescents, and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student learning and emotional health.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and concerns.
  • Offer crisis intervention and develop prevention programs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IDEA and other relevant federal and state regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
