We are currently seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time role in South Burlington, VT. This position offers flexibility, as it can be performed virtually or on-site, based on your preference and needs.
Position Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in school and daily activities. You will work with students of various age groups and create personalized therapy plans to improve their fine motor, sensory, and functional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' occupational therapy needs and develop individualized plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, either virtually or in-person, based on student needs and caseload.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students progress.
- Modify classroom materials and activities to meet students' needs.
- Document therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings to provide insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current OT license in Vermont.
- Experience in a school setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
