School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position Available in Maple Lake, MN

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Maple Lake, Minnesota

Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Hours: 40 hours per week

Start Date-End Date: Full School Year (August 29th, 2024 - June 20th, 2025)

Caseload: Primarily PreK to Elementary, with some Middle School involvement

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the existing SLP team to conduct comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations, and therapy sessions for students
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders and develop appropriate intervention plans
  • Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to address individual student needs and goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually, in small groups, and in classroom settings
  • Design and implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies when necessary
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress, including session notes, assessments, and progress reports
  • Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input on student goals and progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student support and intervention

Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Maple Lake, MN, for the full school year. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the existing SLP team to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students from PreK through Middle School. You will be responsible for conducting evaluations, developing therapy plans, providing direct therapy services, and collaborating with educators and families to support student progress.
