Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, and upkeep of saws and related equipment. This role also involves operating and troubleshooting dust collection and stacking stations, performing quality inspections, loading and unloading materials into machines, preparing products for shipment, and making necessary machine adjustments.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain saws and associated equipment.
  • Operate and troubleshoot dust collection and stacking stations.
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Load and unload materials into machines.
  • Prepare products for shipment.
  • Make adjustments to machines as needed.
Essential Skills
  • 6+ months of machine operation experience.
  • Forklift experience (preferably sit down).
  • Strong measurement skills (experience using a tape measure).
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 3rd shift, with hours from 11pm to 7am, Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed. Candidates should be prepared to work up to 72 hours a week. The role is located at the tail end of the processing department, involving work in a dusty environment with minor fiberglass exposure for which protection is provided. Candidates will need to navigate conveyor systems safely to access different areas of the saws.
