We are currently seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join our team at Georgia Diagnostics and Classification Prison located in Jackson, GA.

Shift: 

  • Full-time/Day shift/ Monday-Friday
  • 7:00 AM -4:30 PM 

Pay rate: 

  • $18.00 an hour - $23.00 an hour (based off certification years)

The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger sticking for blood sugars, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required 
  • Current Phlebotomist certification with verifiable formal training and on-the-job experience as a Phlebotomist required 
  •  Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification/license preferred 
  • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) 
  •  Corrections experience preferred 
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
