Job DescriptionJob Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a Technical Writer/Project Manager with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and basic photography skills. The role involves managing controlled documents, creating or updating technical documentation, and collaborating with lead trainers and engineers to ensure accurate content for manufacturing instructions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations training staff to create and update manufacturing instructions.
  • Manage and maintain a list of documents requiring updates or creation.
  • Document new equipment and processes, ensuring all necessary details are captured.
  • Take and edit photos of control panels and equipment for inclusion in technical documentation.
  • Collect and organize information provided by trainers and engineers to develop accurate and clear documents.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Word and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience as a technical writer, particularly in creating manufacturing instructions, is preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
