School Nurse
Location: Anaheim, CA

Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and caring School Nurse to join our team in Anaheim, CA. The School Nurse will be responsible for providing healthcare services to students, promoting health and wellness within the school, and ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment. This position requires collaboration with school staff, students, and families to address both routine and urgent medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct healthcare services, including first aid, medication administration, and monitoring chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and epilepsy
  • Develop and manage individualized health care plans (IHPs) for students with specific medical needs
  • Respond to medical emergencies and ensure students receive appropriate care
  • Conduct health screenings, including vision, hearing, and immunization pliance
  • Maintain and manage accurate health records in accordance with school policies and state regulations
  • Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics such as nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student health and address any medical concerns
  • Ensure pliance with state and federal health regulations, including HIPAA and FERPA

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
  • Pediatric or school nursing experience (preferred)
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle a wide range of health issues
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to work independently and manage health services for the entire school
  • Knowledge of state health regulations and best practices in school health services
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
