Location: Allendale & Oakland, NJ

Pay: $22-$23/hour ; Overtime: $33-$34.50/hour

Shift: 7am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday)

Job Description

The Materials Associate Level I will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations of the warehouse/ laboratory and inventory control. The position will coordinate and perform a variety of tasks including shipping and receiving, cleaning, assisting in manufacturing process, material handling, inventory control, and replenishments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment.
• Sort, count, and label inventory.
• Maintain inventory control of all incoming materials.
• Clean and maintain clean rooms.
• Monitor environmental conditions.
• Recommend, write or revise manufacturing processes
• Contact carrier to make arrangements and issue instructions for shipping and delivery of orders.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies.
• Deliver materials and supplies to requisitioning department.
• Assure accurate inventory counts and inventory balance information is maintained.
• Support the daily production schedule.
• Perform cycle count activities.
• Manage hazardous waste inventory and schedule waste pick-up.
• Generate all required shipping documents accurately.
• Maintain the Material Data Sheet binder updated.

• ERP knowledge for tracking inventory between sites.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00
