Shifts: Days & Nights

Description:

  • A CT Scan Technologist operates computed tomography (CT) scanners to create cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues, aiding in the diagnosis of medical conditions. This role requires the technologist to accurately follow a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when needed, prepare and operate the CT equipment, and properly position the patient to ensure the correct images are captured.

  • You will prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them appropriately, adjusting immobilization devices, positioning the equipment as required, and setting the exposure factors by adjusting the equipment controls.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - Certified by ARRT.

  • 1 year diagnostic experience required. CT experience preferred.

  • ARRT CT certified. BLS certified through AHA or ARC.

  • ARRT(RT)(CT) REQUIRED and CE compliance & Current BLS certification required.
