Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist for a hybrid position in Gahanna, OH. This unique role combines both remote and on-site responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to balance flexibility with hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students with diverse needs. Analyze data to develop effective intervention plans.
  • Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to provide guidance on student mental health and educational strategies.
  • Intervention: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) to support students academic and emotional growth.
  • Counseling: Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral issues.
  • Crisis Intervention: Respond to and manage crisis situations in collaboration with school staff and parents.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Certification: Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, with a strong background in assessment, counseling, and intervention.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Technology: Proficiency with virtual platforms and tools for remote counseling and meetings.
