Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Near Punta Gorda, Florida
Caseload: School-based, K-12 students
Start Date: Immediate

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services to K-12 students in the Punta Gorda, FL area. As an SLP, you will assess and treat students with munication and speech disorders, helping them thrive academically and socially. You'll be part of a collaborative team, working with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Design and implement therapy plans that target a range of munication skills.
  • Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions within the school setting.
  • Work closely with educators and parents to support student progress.
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing insights for student goal setting.
  • Ensure pliance with school and state policies regarding therapy services.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Florida SLP licensure.
  • Experience with K-12 students preferred.
  • Excellent munication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
