About the Role:

Aerotek is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing process for thermal and heat exchange products, performing tasks such as assembly, leak testing, painting, and more. If you have a strong work ethic and enjoy hands-on tasks, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform core assembly functions following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to assemble components for heat exchangers.
  • Stack metal plates accurately according to blueprint specifications.
  • Conduct leak testing to identify and address any welding flaws, cracks, or leaks in heat transfer units.
  • Maintain and report inventory counts, ensuring proper stock levels.
  • Inspect finished workpieces to ensure quality standards are met, documenting findings as needed.
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Identify potential areas of improvement and report issues to the team.
  • Utilize hand tools for assembly and cleaning tasks.
  • Perform data entry and record data both manually and electronically.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to perform tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills to analyze data and determine issues with product quality.
  • Capable of lifting 15-30 lbs regularly.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.

Work Environment:

This position is based in an industrial machine and fabrication shop. Safety is a top priority, and steel-toed shoes are required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.50

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
