Position: Sign Language Interpreter
Location: Near Emerson, Georgia
Hourly Rate: Up to $35/hour

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
  • National certification through RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) or equivalent credentials (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Deaf culture and munity.

About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter near Emerson, GA, to join our team. This role involves facilitating effective munication between students, staff, and families by interpreting spoken language into ASL and vice versa in a school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear and accurate interpretation services in classrooms, meetings, and school activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure effective munication.
  • Support students understanding of educational content and foster an inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical interpreting standards.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities as needed.

Pay and pensation:

  • petitive hourly rate of up to $35/hour.
