Position: Machinist Foreman
Job Location: Belle Chase, LA
Hutco Branch: Harvey, LA
Rate of Pay: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour (time and a half for overtime after 40 hours)

Hutco Inc. is looking for a Machinist Foreman with experience running a machine shop with a crew of 2-5 people. The work primarily consists of new construction and repair of barges and boats. We are looking for a machinist foreman WITH EXPERIENCE. No TWIC card is required. NO per diem is available.

Permanent position with LOTS OF HOURS AVAILABLE

Job description:
Fabricates, assembles, maintains, and repairs metal objects through the operation of lathes, shapers, planers, milling machines, drill presses, hydraulic presses, and similar equipment. Measures work carefully by using precision tools such as a micrometer. Performs milling and lathe work on equipment such as pumps, valves, pistons, shafts, bowls, impellers, and other equipment. Uses, adjusts, cleans, and stores the tools, machinery, and equipment of the machinist’s trade. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality, seamless customer service
