Maintenance Foreman

Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Foreman to oversee maintenance operations in an industrial, manufacturing, or feedmill environment. This role requires a hands-on professional with a strong background in electro-mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and project coordination to ensure all machinery operates safely and efficiently.

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities on various machines, including conveyor systems, burners/incinerators, and other essential equipment.

• Develop and implement schedules for preventative maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical issues on complex machinery.

• Work alongside maintenance staff to provide hands-on support and training on equipment and safety procedures.

• Manage small-scale maintenance projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing the work from start to completion.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of parts and equipment.

• Collaborate with other departments to optimize machine performance and reduce maintenance-related interruptions.

• Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies in all maintenance operations.

• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or feedmill environment.

• Proficiency in electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair.

• Experience with conveyor systems, burners/incinerators, and similar machinery.

• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and ability to schedule and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Project management skills as they pertain to maintenance projects, including planning, execution, and completion.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills to supervise and train maintenance staff.

• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing work environments and priorities.

• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to track maintenance activities and inventory.

• Certification in relevant technical skills or a degree in a related field is a plus.
