Schools - Speech Language Pathologist

ProCare Therapy is excited to partner with a school in East Lyme, CT, to find a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract role for the 2024-25 school year. This is a fantastic chance for SLPs who are passionate about fostering positive change in the lives of K-5 students within a supportive educational setting.
Position Overview:
- Employment Type:Full-time
- Grade Levels: Kindergarten through 5th Grade
- Compensation:$42 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Deliver therapy sessions to students both individually and in group settings
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student development
- Keep detailed and accurate records of student progress and therapy outcomes
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid Connecticut state license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred
- Previous experience in pediatric speech and language therapy is a plus
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development and continuing education in speech-language pathology
