Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with students, educators, and families to support the development of students functional skills and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans focused on each students unique goals.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services aimed at improving fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students educational goals.
- Educate families on strategies to support their childs development at home and in school.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure to practice occupational therapy in Washington.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to promoting an inclusive environment for all students.
