Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Hardeeville, South Carolina. As a key member of our Non-Profit organization, you will be instrumental in managing vendor payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and resolving account discrepancies.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately process vendor payments, including credit card bills
• Receive, prepare, and review purchase orders and other related documentation for completeness and compliance
• Maintain and update the Vendor File Master regularly
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Conduct audits and reconciliations of billing statements to ensure accuracy
• Develop reports and presentations as requested by senior management
• Handle account discrepancies and serve as the liaison between departments and vendors for resolution of administrative matters
• Prepare and submit quarterly Federal and State Reporting
• Actively support the Finance Director in the design and implementation of internal control systems
• Prepare 1099 reporting for vendors
• Maintain historical records by scanning invoices and processed checks and filing documents
• Assist other department heads with their accounting needs as required.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Non-Profit industry
• Proficient in processing approved invoices
• Demonstrable skills in account reconciliation
• Ability to handle and manage billing statements
• Proven experience in resolving account discrepancies
• Proficiency in coding invoices
• Experience with annual financial reporting
• Familiarity with monthly reporting and monthly financial reporting
• Track record of processing payments in a timely manner
• Experience in handling credit card payments
• Skilled in credit card reconciliation
